The Bulldogs (18-10-1) were led by  Luke Nickolaus' two goals. Brady Breit, Nikolas Babinec, and Connor Braate added goals.

Nolan Convertini scored two goals and had an assist and Navarre Klint added a goal in the win.

Byron Center 4, Holland West Ottawa 3

Byron Center (17-10-1) rallied from down 3-2 with two goals in the third period. Mason Breit, Trevor Davis, Luke Nickolaus, and Nik Schepers scored in the win.

Ethan Houck scored the game winner for the Hawks (25-3). Brady Rappuhn scored in regulation. Jacob Winters earned the win in goal, making 40 saves.

Stefan Frantti had a goal and three assists to lead the Highlanders (19-10) to the semifinals. Cameron Sturos, Brandon Eoll and Trevan Pennala added goals in the win.

Howell 4, Brighton 2

Stefan Frantti scored the game-winner to snap a 2-2 tie. Cam Nitschman, Everett Pietila and Brent Wolf also scored goals for the Highlanders (18-10). It had been 11 years since Howell beat Brighton in the MHSAA tournament and more than five years since the Highlanders won any game against the Bulldogs.

The Eagles (19-6-2) trailed entering the third period for the second straight game, but scored three goals in the final nine minutes and 10 seconds to earn the win. Chet L’Esperance, Adam Pietila, and Kieran Carlile scored.

Kyle Switzer’s overtime goal at the 2:33 mark lifted Rockford (12-13-1) to a 2-1 victory.

D. J. Dixon had two goals and one assist to lead the Warriors (20-6-2). Matt DeTar scored two goals and Nick Marone, Max Brown, and Ryan Murphy each had one goal and two assists.

Logan O’Flanagan had four goals and two assists to lead the Huskies. Chad Noetzel had two goals and two assists. Brendan Dickinson had one goal and three assists, Cole Peyerk had one goal and two assists, and Dominic Ruiz had one goal and one assist.

Senior Will Nicholson led the Knights with one goal and three assist. Sophomore Doug Wood had a goal and assist. And senior Tristian Reilly and junior Alec Leonard added goals in the victory. Junior Grant Lindsay earned the win in goal.
